Church Partners

The backbone of the Safe Families Northern Michigan movement is the Church. Safe Families works to bridge the gap between the church and community. We partner to equip the Church to meet the vulnerable and isolated members of our communities and do what the Church does best: provide biblical hospitality.

We are currently seeking Northern Michigan churches to partner with. If you’re interested in joining the Safe Families movement in Northern Michigan, reach out to us at northernmi@safefamilies.net.

Community Partners

Safe Families for Children Greater Northern Michigan is seeking dedicated partners who serve in both public and private capacities that address specific life vulnerabilities such as housing insecurity, unemployment, addiction, domestic violence, physical and mental health challenges, and many more.

Throughout the US, referrals typically come from The Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS). Safe Families are also referred to by the local police, hospitals, schools, agencies, and parents. If you are a referring agency or have questions about intake, please view our Referral Guidelines HERE.
